As part of this momentous call to conscious evolution, I think we also need to consciously and humbly acknowledge within ourselves the dark side of the human psyche, the instinctive and irrational forces of the unconscious that we have been loath to face and have hitherto denied. Only by accepting the reality of these bodily depths and opening ourselves consciously to their processes can we surpass their blind compulsions.
