LIve with beauty. Weave community. Create sanctuary. Seed JOY. / We are born to this time. We are born to this place. We are born to each other. TOGETHER we know what to do. We must strategically and intentionally use our individual and collective gifts, circulating resources and knowledge that nourishes all. We are part of NATURE. When we understand that our task is to intelligently and heartfully co-create with each other and nature for the benefit of the living earth, we will be able to intelligently navigate this time of transition and transformation (full of it's natural turbulance), evolving together in ways that more fully express the sacred gift of our life, of ALL LIFE. I live in Ecuador. I am an educator, artivista, mother, eco entrepreneur, storyteller and scholar. This summer Ecuador will have the opportunity to vote 3 TIMES deciding between BIODIVERSITY and an ECONOMY of EXTRACTIVISM. I believe these are the most important elections on the planet and of our times. Ecuador's 2008 constitution, the first on the planet to declare the RIGHTS OF NATURE, has effectively delivered to the Ecuadorian people the confluence of these 3 elections where we will have the opportunity to vote in favor of the REGENERATIVE POWER OF BIODIVERSITY VS. the DECIMATING ECONOMY OF EXTRACTION. We have the opportunity to shift our understanding, the planet's understanding of WEALTH. Where WEALTH no longer EQUALS $ but RATHER WEALTH = BIODIVERSITY / LIFE / WELL BEING . The outcome of these elections will affect every person on the planet from now to the 7th generation. We are voting to protect the most biodiverse corners of the planet, the CHOCO ANDINO, YASUNI and our other critical ecosystems. We need your help. WE NEED EVERYBODY's HELP. Because the outcome of this election will affect us all.
