I believe that turning inward and learning to love ourselves, and then consciously radiating loving kindness toward others is key!! Then banding together with groups like yours, and the Choice Point Movement, etc, WILL make a difference. :)

Many ways! One way is that we can encourage conscious business owners to set up their businesses to give automatic, recurring "In Kind" donations to worthy causes each month. (I work for a merchant processing company that donates 20% of profit from each client back to the nonprofit or organization of each client's choice. This is a way for a business owner to make a difference with virtually NO EXTRA EFFORT and NO EXTRA COST. (I can help with this!!)

There are many other ways to band together and make a difference. And finding ways that does not create added burden to people's already-busy lives is a great way to start!
