Ayo Ayoola-Amale is an attorney, conflict transformation practitioner, certified mediator /ombud, peace builder, policy advocate, and development practitioner with a wealth of experience in women, peace and security, gender, disarmament, restorative practice, human rights, and the social rights of women and girls. Her deep legal knowledge, integration of human rights to gender issues, and women's empowerment within peace processes are often infused in art forms and in developing new thinking around economic and progressive social change issues for sustainable development. Focusing on girls' and women’s rights, she has worked with global organizations and movements to lead advocacy and campaigns on ending gender-based violence, girls' education, disarmament, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development.
Ayo is the Lead Consultant of First Conflict Resolution Services Inc. and Founder of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, Ghana, and City of Peace Initiative, Lagos Nigeria.
