Danilo Parmegiani

Danilo Parmegiani is the Administrator of the Legion of Good Will (LGW) in the USA and has served as an NGO representative at the United Nations for over 20 years. He currently chairs the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values, and Global Concerns in New York. Founded in Brazil, LGW is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational, humanitarian, and social assistance programs to economically disadvantaged communities across seven countries. Since 2007, Danilo has led LGW’s initiatives in the USA, focusing on poverty alleviation and expanding opportunities through education, nutrition, healthcare, social services, and emergency relief.
Danilo holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College in New York and a bachelor’s degree and teaching licensure in Portuguese Literature and Linguistics. Awarded the Spirit of the UN Award in 2017, Danilo is committed to promoting ecumenical spiritual values as a lasting, guiding cause at the UN, advocating for these principles as essential to achieving peace and global unity.
