Main profile
My role as a Creative Integral Visionary Enthusiast, enriched by a lifelong commitment as a philanthropist, architect, and designer, is deeply influenced by the Indigenous perspective that every creation is a part of a larger story.
With 35 years of experience in shaping environments that respect the delicate balance between human needs and natural ecosystems, I am guided by the principle of designing with nature, not against it. This approach is about restorying our relationship with the land, crafting spaces that reflect a deep reverence for the Earth and its ancient wisdom. In every project, from corporate to private landscapes, we strive to embody the Indigenous teachings of living in harmony, ensuring our contributions nurture a world where every being can flourish.
I am artist, photographer, designer, integral visionary enthusiast, Columbia trained architect (M.Arch., Columbia University 1982) with 40+ years in the Architecture and Design field. I embarked on a new journey in 2002 with the creation of Aspirallink, a search engine for sustainable products and services. While becoming a founding member of BiomimicryNYC in 2012, I regained my footing in nature, focusing on amplifying Biomimicry into the spotlight.
In November 2014, I facilitated the BiomimicryNYC + Urban Green Harbors workshop titled “How would nature design resilient breakwaters?” together with Prof. Anamarija Frankic, co-founder of Biomimicry New England. The workshop brought together 40 people from across the United States—students, teachers, biologists, architects, designers, engineers, and business people—to focus on developing nature-inspired, ecosystem-restoring solutions for NYC Harbor Restoration on Governors Island. In my commitment to planetary health and resilience, I embarked on the journey to develop a nature inspired purposeful business model. I founded brand.earth, a media strategy that is radical, audacious, and courageous, while being generous, mutualistic, and regenerative, to help exponentially scale nature’s innovative solutions, currently in creative mode to birth a regenerative ecology financing a human economy. Stay tuned.
