Speaking a bit more personally - my passion in life is creating more harmonious, cooperative, meaningful relationships. These days I identify as a social psychologist although at started out as a cognitive scientist and spent a good part of my career as an organisational psychologist doing research on helping people experience more wellbeing and better relationships in organisations. For the past 10 years I have been passionately involved in building Prosocial with David Sloan Wilson and a range of other colleagues. It has been the greatest privilege of my life to get to meet such an extraordinary range of wonderful people and I am changing deeply in response. These days I am noticing I spend more time in a 'quiet ego' space than I used to. This is profoundly satisfying for me and it is a delight to be part of this group with others who appreciate the value of moving beyond ego.
I am no more nor less important than anybody else on the planet.
